Yesterday my hosting company was having technical diffculties, resulting in error pages and missing stores.
Today my primary vendor, CafePress, is having technical difficulties resulting in slow loading and missing pages.
I do not know the status as of yet, but will update as soon as I have info to share.

In January 2007, Senators Olympia Snowe (R-ME) and Mary Landrieu (D-LA) and Representative Rosa L. DeLauro (D-CT) reintroduced the Breast Cancer Patient Protection Act of 2007 (S. 459/H.R.758). The bill would allow a woman and her doctor to decide whether she should recuperate for at least 48 hours. Some insurance companies are trying to limit this to an outpatient procedure… Sending women home mere hours after this difficult experience.

I’ve lived in this house almost 4 years now and just today had air conditioning installed.
Why?
Why did I get it installed at all when I live in colorado? It doesn’t get THAT hot.
Or why did I wait almost 4 years to do it?
because I like to keep the world wondering what’s next…
No.
I thought I could beat the heat. Honestly, it’s only horribly hot maybe 2 weeks a year. The rest of the time it’s completely tolerable. Get outside with a slight breeze or go in a basement and the temperature is a dandy 80 degrees at most.
I thought wrong. Or maybe I really wasn’t thinking.. which is a confusing concept in itself. Regardless, I was wrong… Very wrong.
It’s amazing how one’s personality can change as a result of their environment. Me, when my environment becomes uncomfortable, I unintentionally make everyone within the world around me uncomfortable. I think its that whole if you can beat ’em, join ’em mentality — backwards.
Why let anyone else miss out? That would be just no fun.
Unfortunately, no one appreciates my attempt at sharing the misery. So, today I made a change for the better.
The world will be a better place indeed. For (at most, remember) 2 weeks a year, there might just be a little more love and a lot less sweat — and for that, we should all appreciate the air conditioning.
Chill I say.. just sit back and chill.

After 9 long months of waiting for our newest family member to arrive, we were blessed with a happy healthy 8 lb 12oz baby girl.
I’ve been thinking a lot, watching my husband with the boys and wondering how the dynamic between father and daughter will be different
She’s so tiny and delicate… so dainty and fragile… so many new opportunities lie ahead, how will dad adapt? What will the princess learn from dear ol’ daddy poo?
I finally have insight to an answer:
Look at what the man is teaching her!!!
and she’s soaking it up!
(people have asked who she looks like… hmm)
Thoughts:
You never know what your children will inherit, nor can you plan for what they will teach you. All you can do is prepare for the unexpected and get ready to be lovedunconditionally in return for your just being there.

Spring is the chaotic busy season in my household… with birthdays and Easter, Mother’s Day and anniversaries.. wedding showers and baby showers, we usually have a reason to party every weekend for a few months.
A few weekends ago the family decided that it was a good day to make a “fancy” breakfast. No reason. Nothing to celebrate. A just-because-we-can kind of day.
So I gathered up the troops and we dug through the fridge together. After an hour of mess making, piles of yogurt cups and a few creative branstorming moments, we came up with yumminess worth celebrating.
Behold, the yogurt sundae!

topped off with a 1/4 of a toasted waffle.
Then it occurred to me… every day should be worth making a sundae kind of day. We had no official reason to jump with joy, but we created one just because we were hungry and awake. What a great way to start the day!
Gotta love the sundae kind of days I say. Add a bit of sweetness to your every day and maybe the rest will follow with giggly grins too… just because. 😀
